Scotia Pipers is run entirely by pipers, there is no agent or middle man. One important point to note is when a knowledgeable piping resource isnt used to book a Scottish Piper you may be supplied with an inferior musician, do not be tempted just to shop around for the cheapest Bagpiper, you may find your piper will turn up wearing a kilt, T-shirt and a pair of trainers, just because they are the cheapest doesnt necessarily mean they are the best. Always be sure to check out the background of the piper or arrange to hear them at another function. A poor musician can reflect poorly on the event and do damage to the reputation of the instrument itself. All of Scotia Pipers musicians are hand picked in order to provide you with the very best in highland bagpipe entertainment. They have all proved themselves as either top professional solo pipers or Grade 1 bandsmen. As well as winning high accolades in the piping world, our Scottish Bagpiper's have also experienced playing at events and venues such as the 2004 Olyimpic Games, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, the opening of the Scottish Parliament, Stade De France, Eiffol Tower, Carnegie Hall in NY, Albert Hall, the Champions League Final, Dunhill Cup and Ryder Cup Golf Tournaments, St. Patrick's Day Celebrations and Marie Curie marches in New York, and numerous television and radio appearances. Because of our extensive selection process we are in a position to offer you only the very best disciplined, professionally dressed Bagpiper. Our Pipers appear in either No.1 or No.2 dress, this is entirely dependent on your preference and requirements. The No. 1 or full ceremonial dress consists of a kilt, tunic, horse hair sporran, spats and diced hose, full plaid with Cairngorm brooch and a feather bonnet. This really is a spectacular sight and turns heads wherever it is viewed. The No.2 uniform is a slightly less formal and more modern version of the full highland dress. It consists of a kilt, Argyll jacket, shirt and tie, ghillie brogues, and a sporran. |

The stirring sound of the Highland Bagpipe can add a unique themed sound to any event, such as Weddings, Conferences, Anniversaries, Parties, Burns Suppers, Corporate events or Funerals. The music is carefully selected dependent on your requirements, We are delighted to hear from customers who have there own ideas on what tunes they require, if there is any music that you really like that is not traditional pipe music we will do our very best to try and adapt it for you. We have actually dealt with a bride who requested to be piped down the isle to Nelly the Elephant as she had a fascination with elephants. - Whatever your musical tastes Scotia Pipers are here to provide it. |
