Bagpipe Lessons are back

Solo Tuition

Why not learn to play the play the Bagpipes with Scotia Pipers? We are only too delighted to encourage youngsters and adults alike to learn and master the art of the Bagpipes. We believe it is vital that the traditions of Piping are kept alive for generations to come. You are never too young or old to pick up the chanter and learn your first tune. It doesn't matter if you aspire to competing and winning at the top level or you simply want to learn a tune or two to impress your friends, we are here to advise and help you achieve your goals.

Novel Ideas

If you are looking for gift ideas for a loved one or a friend, why not surprise them to an introductory Bagpipe Lesson? You never know, once we get our hands on them for an hour, we might just get them hooked. We will appear at your door in full dress at a pre arranged time by yourself, we will play a couple of tunes, the individual will receive a gift wrapped chanter and music book, we will then proceed to give them their first lesson, hopefully by the end of which, they will be playing up and down the scale on the chanter - admittedly, probably very poorly, this is not an easy task to a novice by any matter of means. At the end of the lesson, we will play another couple of tunes and encourage the recipient to have a try of the pipes.

Enlightening Education

Perhaps you run a school or club and are looking at different ways to educate and entertain your attendees. Scotia Pipers are ideal for giving them an introduction to the Highland Bagpipe, This will be very informative, but fun at the same time. Again, we will turn up in full dress, play some tunes, and will give a speech on Bagpipes and their history, we will hold a question and answer session at the end. Your youngsters will be whistling 'Scotland the Brave' and 'The Flower of Scotland' for the rest of the day.
