Beat the Retreat
A spectacular inclusion to your event is a Scottish Pipe Band, they will add sparkle, music and colour to any event. Our pipe band comes in full highland regalia, they can perform a beat the retreat in military march style coming complete with Pipers, Drummers including Side, Tenor and Bass drums. And topped off with a Drum Major to lead the band on their parade. The Drum Major will perform the traditional salute to the Chieftan at the end of their performance before the band march off into the night. The beat the retreat can be performed indoors or out and usually lasts around 15 mins.
The band typically comes as a 16 piece, but other arrangements can be made to suit the size of your event.
Concert/Festival Performance
There's more to a Pipe Band than Scotland the Brave and Highland Laddie. We can supply a full scale Grade 1 Pipe Band for Concert performances both at home and abroad. A traditional Pipe Band with a contemporary mix, dipping into several musical genres from throughout the World. The band can either put on a concert of their own or can be used as an act in a larger concert, often integrating with other musicians. Television and Film work welcome. Our band can also be used for street parades at celtic festivals.
