Piper Kevin McLean

Kevin has been playing since the age of 11 and was originaly taught by Logan Tannoch before moving on to the Royal Burgh of Stirling Pipe Band under the tuition of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers Stuart Cassells and laterly David MacRobert. During his time with the band he traveled extensivly to festivals such as the world renound Lorient Interceltic Festival in France, Interceltic Festival Aviles Spain as well as the Nuit de Celtic in the Stade de France in Paris. Kevin also attended the National Piping Centre in Glasgow during his time playing in bands where he recived tuition and guidence from the world renound solo piper Gordon Walker formarly of the Royal Highland Fusilers.

In 1999 Kevin was a guest of the 1st btn Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders performing at the 50th Edinburgh Military Tattoo during that time he played for HM Queen Elizabeths arrival at Balmoral. As well as playing for the Queen, Kevin has played for other members of the royal family such as HRH Prince Charles, HRH Princess Anne and HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. Kevin has had the pleasure of playing for a whole host of A list celebrites and sporting personalities from stage and screen.

Kevin is an established piper within the wedding and corporate entertaiment industry and believes in only supplying the very finest bagpipe musicians for all event needs. Kevin is currently the resident piper at the 5 star luxurious Cameron House Hotel on Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle and is the piper of choice for the Aurora Hotel collectin which includes Airth Castle, Glenbervie House, The Coach House at Glenbervie, Salsgirth House and the up and coming Hotel Collesio in Stirling.

Kevin prides himself on his impecable standard of dress and punctuality making him the piper of choice for many and is in high demand throught the country as a result.
