We work with a handpicked roster of professional, experienced DJs who are approachable and accommodating to your needs. Your disco is personalised to your taste, and we will work with you to build the perfect crowd-pleasing night.
We are happy to accommodate all kinds of disco’s from dance music to cheesy tunes to ceilidh, with a library of over 50,000 tracks, we can also cater to requests on the night. We use state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment to ensure a professional, crystal clear experience, and have the option to add additional lights to your package if you want to give your venue the wow factor.

Scotia Disco’s primary DJ is Steven Dewar. If Steven is unavailable, we can also source DJs of similar exceptional quality for you.
A DJ with a unique talent, Steven has been in the music scene since he started playing the bagpipes at only 8 years old. His experience, which has seen him travel the globe and play at thousands of events and he has years of experience fronting ceilidh bands as a professional dance caller, if you want to incorporate this into your disco.
Each event is bespoke, your DJ will work with you to ensure he incorporates the genre and songs you would like played.
We are happy to build you a bespoke package if you are interested in a Piper, Disco or any of our additional products.
You will have the opportunity to share your playlist with us before your Wedding, we will use this as a guide to your taste and suggest other tunes that would work well. Our DJs have a friendly approach and are happy to take any requests on and before the night. He can advise you on what works best, but ultimately it is your night.
Some people like to dictate the full playlist but others are happier to leave that decision to the DJ. We are happy to work with you either way and will always try to read the crowd and play what suits your guests.
As standard, state of the art Bose sound system, which gives crystal clear sound is provided, we also supply an LED booth and lit up Trusst system with high quality lights. All electrical equipment is PAT tested and public liability insured. Additional lighting options are available in our wedding extras, at an additional cost.

When you book a wedding DJ through Scotia Discos, you won’t have to worry about your DJ not turning up to your Wedding. Although Steven is our main DJ, we have an extensive database of other DJs that we can rely on. If Steven is unavailable for your wedding, we will advise you at the time of booking.
Typically our rates are from £400 depending on location and set length.
